| CHERRY GLEN ABRAHAM RUSHKIN dob: 3-29-07 A1407696 LA @ 1 yr: 90(VEE) Excellent in head, shoulder assembly, back, rump and already scored a 50 in stature as a yearling! S: Willow Run Armand Abraham LA@1-11 87(VVV) SS: Willow-Run LA Armand SD: GCH Willow-Run Agnes of God D: GCH Willow Run Ahren Rivkah LA @ 5yrs 92(EEEE) 2006 National Show: 3rd place (5&6 yr old class) 2007 National Show: 4th place (5&6 yr old class) 2007 National Show: 1st place Dam & Daughter DS: Willow Run Caesar Ahren DD: GCH Willow Run Armand Rishona (4 time National Grand Champion) A really good Cherry Glen breeding, this Abraham x Rivkah son excels in length of leg, neck and body. Rushkin's rump flares out beautifully from hips to pins, giving him a high, wide, well-cut escutcheon. Rushkin has a lot of maturing to do as he continues to fill out his lovely large frame. Overall our Rushkin kids are large, wide and dairy. His six milking daughters have well attached mammary systems and nice udder texture. We repeated the breeding of Rushkin to six of our older does this Fall. Rushkin's dam, Rivkah, had tremendous excellence in general appearance, size and scale. She was very sharp and high at her withers, had a long, elegant, graceful neck and eye-catching front-end carriage. Rushkin has become touchy about us trying to set his rear legs, so the yearling photo at the left shows him totally unposed. |

Very dairy-boned like his dam, Quill combines the Hoach's L line on both sides, reinforcing legginess, long bone patterns and dairy character. Quill is nicely blended throughout, is leggy, has a wonderfully level topline and rump and an excellent set to his rear legs. His shoulders lie flatly against his body. Width of body should come as Quill matures. He has been bred to five of our does this Fall. We love the sharpness, tight front end assembly and dairy ribbing of Quill's dam as well as her plastered on mammary system with plumb teats. Thanks Cathy! |
