Romulus was not settling does for us in the Fall of 2007, so we had to take him to the stock sale.  We were fortunate to have had several of his daughters freshen in the Spring of 2008.  Our favorite Aria, is still in our herd.

STUD SERVICE ($60-75 in 2009) is available to healthy (no abcesses, ringworm, soremouth, etc.), CAE negative does.  Sorry, there is no boarding available.

                               (4 time National Grand Champion)

A really good Cherry Glen breeding, this Abraham x Rivkah son excels in length of leg, neck  and body.  Rushkin's  rump flares out beautifully from hips to pins, giving him a high, wide, well-cut escutcheon.   Rushkin has a lot of maturing to do as he continues to fill out his lovely large frame.
Overall our Rushkin kids are large, wide and dairy.  His six milking daughters have well attached mammary systems and nice udder texture.  We repeated the breeding of Rushkin to six of our older does this Fall.
Rushkin's dam, Rivkah,  had tremendous excellence in general appearance, size and scale.  She was very sharp and high at her withers, had a long, elegant, graceful neck and eye-catching front-end carriage.
Rushkin has become touchy about us trying to set his rear legs, so the yearling photo at the left  shows him totally unposed.

This boy did very well in combining with our does.  Almost all his daughters born into our herd presented with nice showy mammary systems, lots of style, and gentle temperments.  Our compliments to Laura Warner for having bred this fine buck!

"Frenchie" is quite the stylish  leggy young stud right now.   He is powerful, long-bodied, wide throughout with an especially nice rump and  good strong bone.   At this point in his development,  Frenchie's pasterns are strong and he tracks straight ahead.

Quill is beginning to get nice depth of barrel and spring of rib as he is maturing.  Very dairy-boned like his dam,  Quill  combines the Hoach's L line on both sides, reinforcing legginess, long bone patterns and dairy character.  Quill is nicely blended throughout, is leggy, has a wonderfully level topline and rump and an excellent set to his rear legs.  His shoulders lie flatly against his body.  Width of body should come as Quill matures.  He has been bred to five of our does this Fall.
We love the sharpness, tight front end assembly and dairy ribbing of Quill's dam as well as her plastered on mammary system with plumb teats.
Thanks Cathy!
