Alexander is one of the last-born sons of our irreplaceable CH Munchin'Hill Allegheny;  we are so happy to have Alexander here to hopefully pass on  the style, length of bone pattern and dairiness of his dam.

Alexander continues to grow in height and length and has begun to get nice spring-of-rib and depth of barrel which he didn't have at his yearling photo shoot.  He was really looking good just before he went into rut.  Alexander will be bred to two or three of our does this Fall.

We lost Alexander's dam Allegheny too early in life after an horrendous kidding.   Allegheny was Pat's all-time favorite doe in our 35 years of breeding dairy goats.   Allegheny was so consistent in the milk bucket producing 16 lbs per day on a regular basis, had the best flavored milk ever, was no-fuss in her eating habits, was a wonderful herd queen,  was one of the tallest/longest does ever bred here, and was so very easy to show.

We are thrilled that our friends from Behrmann Farms have allowed us the use of their senior herdsire.
This  guy has really flat dairy bone, a board-level back, tracts correctly  and is a "mile" long.   There are great udders on the does on both sides of Vladimir's pedigree.

We bred two Rushkin daughters to IRS last year and were very pleased with the resulting four kids, all of whom are correct and very-well blended.  "Vladimir" (his name was inadvertantly omitted when registered, so his ADGA name is simply "IRS") sired Carte Belle, one of our best kids in 2011.  His other three kids were sold to show homes.

The pictures of both IRS and Vienna aren't the best.  If we ever get the opportunity to get updated pictures from their owners, we certainly will post them.

We have bred Carte Blanche, Petrova and Avalanche to IRS  this Fall.  If they settle, they will all kid in early March.
